We welcome back the enormously talented and very popular 440 Theatre to MADhurst to delight us with their witty performances of Romeo & Juliet and Macbeth.

440 Theatre are bringing two high energy Shakespeare productions to the beautiful Easebourne Park. Join us from 6pm and enjoy a picnic on the grounds (indoors at Memorial Hall if wet), followed by Romeo & Juliet and Macbeth, each performed in 40 ingenious, breakneck minutes. This event is suitable for all ages, including children of Primary School age.

Bring your own picnic and refreshments and enjoy the surroundings of the beautiful Easebourne Park.  Once you have enjoyed your picnic you will be invited to relocate to the area in front of the Band Stand to watch the show, and chairs rather than picnic blankets are recommended for the actual performance part of the evening.

If the weather is not suitable on the day of the event then it will take place in the Memorial Hall instead – we will provide the table and chairs for your indoor picnic !!  We will contact all ticket holders if the event has to be moved due to the wet/inclement conditions.
